What are you up to tonight?  After you check out tonight’s all new BETTER OFF TED on ABC, flip  on over to USA and tune into the season premiere of WHITE COLLAR.  When we last left Neal and company, Peter was saying hello to a surprised Kate, and wearing the ring.  You know, THE RING that is in the most important picture of Kate that Neal has ever seen.  The episode resolves the cliffhanger over the course of the hour, and the story isn’t so convoluted that I don’t buy it.  I am interested to see where they go from here.

I’m excited that they’re using Tiffani Thiessen and Willie Garson so well, and the toned down Natalie Morales makes for an enjoyable if not predictable hour of TV.  Guest stars like (one of my favorites) Jonathan Tucker are a welcome sight, and Matt Bomer, as always, is charming, and perfect in this role!

Check out a trail for tonight’s episode and don’t forget to tune into USA tonight at 10 to see how it all plays out!

I don’t know about you, but there’s something about an All Star season of SURVIVOR that always makes me really happy.  I love getting to see some of my favorites again, and see how they interact with others, see how they change up their game if they didn’t win last time, or if they did win.  I do doubt some of these labels of Hero and Villain (Is Sandra a Villain because she’s a past winner?)  Check after the jump for pictures and descriptions of the two tribes and let me know what you think! September

It struck me as I was flipping forward on the DVR yesterday that in just a few days, it’ll be time to start scheduling the madness of Fall TV into the DVRs that currently have too much stuff on them anyway!  In celebration of over-working my poor DVRs, I wanted to pass along the full downloadable premiere date calendar for September (October will be around before you know it; look for a breakdown of those dates in a few weeks)!

Did I capture all of your favorite shows?  Let me know if I missed anything!  Click on the thumbnail to download the full version!

*A full schedule of shows will be made available closer towards September 8, for times!

A while back, I fell in love with a short film that Zachary Levi and Tony Hale were a part of called CTRL+Z.  The film, about a putupon cubicle occupant (Hale) who discovers the secret powers of his desktop computer keyboard, is hilarious, and won accolades from multpile film festivals for just how incredible it is.  Now, the folks involved, including Hale and Emi Coligado (as well as the creator Robert Kirbyson), have come together for an online series based on the same premise, but taking it a little further than the short film could.  I’m with Rae; I loved the screeners that NBC sent, and now you can enjoy it to on NBC’s CTRL site.  Today is the premiere (the first three episodes are up), and Tony Hale and Steve Howey wanted to say a little something to celebrate!

emmyIt’s Emmy time again!  This week is always so exciting as the last minute predictions make their way around the internets.  I just want to put it out there that I rarely agree with the Emmy voters on what’s funny and what I think is a dramatic performance worthy of accolades, but there are times when they’re right on the money.  Here’s what I’m thinking I would love to hear come Emmy award nominations, announced Thursday, July 16, by Chandra Wilson and Jim Parsons (please note that I don’t know enough about the Miniseries to weigh in on those categories)!

Keep in mind that the ideas I express below are simply my opinion, and I realize that I’m totally neglecting some amazing perfomances, but this is what I would LOVE to see, not what I expect to see!

Which one of your favorites just narrowly missed out on top 2?  That’s why I’m here – having gotten completely addicted (against my better judgment) to the show in the past few weeks, I want to make sure people who missed it could find the answer!  After the jump, find out who got kicked off! haroldIn recent years, one of my favorite people to watch on TV has been Harold Perrineau!  Michael Dawson, the man who sold out his friends to save his boy on LOST, made a huge impact on the TV landscape that his celebrated return last season was a welcome addition.  Back on TV again this season, with a new show that’s gathering critical acclaim (while facing a limited audience), Harold spent some time chatting with me about what to expect, why he likes this show, why he thinks you will, and what about my movie choices make him laugh!

What drew you to this show?
I really thought it, I thought it was really, really funny, and really well-written.  I hadn’t done anything like this so far, that was light and funny, but really dark, and a little strange.  When they told me that Adam Goldberg was going to be doing it, I thought, yeah, I’d love to be down, so those are the things that drew me in!
